Rainier Medical Education has established a comprehensive system for elevating foot care nursing, combining advanced education with access to high-quality clinical tools so nurses can practice with confidence and competence.
Led by Dr. Julia Overstreet, Rainier’s hands-on foot care training is designed for small groups of only four students per class, ensuring individualized instruction and personal attention. The curriculum spans core foot and nail care techniques, wound and diabetic foot management, and debridement, and is accepted toward certification prerequisites such as WOCN and AFCNA. In addition to classroom instruction, Rainier also provides in-facility and customized training to bring expert guidance directly into clinical settings.
On the educational side, Rainier offers a library of continuing education videos covering infection control, fungal and general foot/nail pathology, diabetic foot care, and more—ideal for nurses seeking to refine or expand their clinical proficiency. Free video modules are also available to make key techniques more accessible to learners at every level.
